Equipment Recommendations

The SAIT journalism program requires all students to come equipped with a suitable camera, lenses, external flash unit, Mac computer, software and accessories, starting in the first semester. The equipment requirements are outlined in the Journalism Program Gear List.

Additional equipment, in the form of audio and video accessories, is required at the start of second year. More information is in the Second-Year Gear List for Writing Students.
